ElitMe Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 December 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how elitme.com (“ElitMe”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes information about you when you use our websites, mobile applications, and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us (for example, via customer support, events, or social media).
ElitMe is an invite-first community built for premium lifestyle discovery (e.g., yachts, luxury vehicles and related services) and member-to-member connections (including travel companion features). Because trust and discretion are central to our community, we aim to collect only what we need, offer meaningful privacy controls, and safeguard member data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, via an in-product notification or a notice on our website). Your continued use of the Services after an update means you understand the updated policy applies from the Effective Date.

• If you use travel companion or connection features, certain details may be shared with the members you connect with.
• We may offer settings to limit visibility (for example, member-only profiles, restricted messaging, or hiding certain profile fields).
Please use discretion when sharing information that could reveal your identity, location, or travel plans. Even in a members-only environment, you control what you choose to post.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help websites work and remember preferences. We use cookies and similar technologies for:
• Strictly necessary purposes (e.g., login, security, session management).
• Preferences (e.g., language, display settings).
• Analytics (e.g., understanding how the Services are used).
• Marketing (where enabled/required, e.g., measuring campaign performance).
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, in-product cookie preferences. Blocking some cookies may affect functionality.
7. International Transfers
We are headquartered in the UK and may process information in the UK and other countries where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law (for example, the UK IDTA/UK Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses, where relevant).
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.
In general:
• Account data: retained while your account is active; if you delete your account, we delete or anonymize it within 30 days unless we must retain certain data for legal or security reasons.
• Content: if you delete content, it may persist in backups for a limited period; public/member-visible content may remain visible if you do not delete it.
• Logs and security records: retained for a limited period to protect the Services and investigate issues.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no security system is impenetrable. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your login credentials confidential.

11. Additional Disclosures for the UK/EEA/Switzerland
If you are located in the UK, European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland, applicable data protection laws (including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR) provide certain rights and require us to explain the legal bases for processing.
